208 – Freaky Fridays

Have you ever wanted to switch bodies with someone? Even if it was just for a day? If I learned anything at all this week, it’s that a set of fortune cookies or a simple wish, can make this happen!

That’s right, kids, we’re doing a ‘Freaky Friday’ show! The lads from ’40 Going On 14′ are not swapping their bodies, but they are swapping their thoughts on the original film and the latter remake.

As SubTember comes to a close, we have one final SECRET co-host joining us and I promise, you won’t be disappointed! Cue the ‘Benny Hill’ theme!

195 – Pete’s Dragons

When we were kids, we all wanted a pet dragon. If not a pet dragon, then some kind of magical friend that would stay by our side and keep us safe. Disney fulfilled that wish, with the original ‘Pete’s Dragon’. In 2016, they remade it, but for a more modern generation of kids.

On our newest episode, we’re going to hop on the back of the world’s most famous big, green dragon. We’re also going to learn about Robert Redford and his love of horses.

What more can you ask for?

156 – Adventures in Babysitting!

You want to go out for an evening, but need to keep the kids at home. What else do you do, but hire a babysitter? These are the ‘Adventures In Babysitting. These are the stories that need to be told.

We’re taking on the original and remake of this classic coming of age comedy. How will the Nickelodeon original film hold up to the Elizabeth Shue cult classic? You’ll have to listen to find out!

It’s a show that’s being paid by the hour. So tuck the kids in for the night, grab Thor’s hammer and remember: “Don’t mess with the babysitter!”

Oh Elizabeth Shue, how we love you.

139 – Escapes From Witch Mountains

If your planet is dying, what is the best course of action to sustain life and bring your homeworld back? If you answered: build spaceships, then you need to listen to this episode right now!

This week it’s all about Witch Mountain. We’re not only going to ‘Escape To Witch Mountain’ but we’re going to ‘Race To Witch Mountain’ as well! We’ll dissect the original Disney classic, with all it’s 1975-ness as well as the updated version starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Jonson. Which includes 85% more action sequences, alien assassins and logical plot devices! Sadly, it has has 100% less harmonica.

Tune in your telekinesis, because we can already see you’re remembering something. Let’s get witchy, baby!
